Jon, the cabin is beautiful... just can't believe how well it turned out.  We should have had you stain the garage too - call me and we'll talk about that.  Thanks again, you are rain magic in the country!

Sponge Painting Technique

Sponge painting can cover irregularities, dings and blemishes in the paint finish and wall.  This technique is utilized in older homes and designer homes as well to add depth, texture to a flat surface.  If you are looking for a bold finish or new design you may want to consider sponge painting.  The painting process applies a glaze to a base coat.  The right ratio of glaze and paint are required to create the right mix.  The sponge is dipped and blotted on the wall for pattern.  Variations can include multiple glazes, colors and striations.  Metallic, natural stone, granite and fabrics looks can be achieved.
